However, the tour will take you through a large journey in Morocco exploring the Imperial Cities of Rabat, Fes, and Marrakech, as well as the unique Chefchaouen, the blue city. The full program of the 12 days desert tour from Marrakech to Casablanca

Day 1: MARRAKECH

Upon your arrival at Marrakech airport, our personal driver will be waiting for you to transfer you to your Accommodation in your most luxurious comfortable car, to take some rest before starting your 10 days tour in Morocco.

Day 2: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - OUARZAZATE - FOUM ZGUID - ERG CHEGAGA

The next day, after breakfast, you will drive to the gateway to the desert: M’hamid. On our road to the desert, we will visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, we head to Ouarzazate “the Hollywood of Africa” where tens of movies were shot such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia. Passing by Zagora, the capital of dates, we stop in Tamegroute to visit the pottery workshops and the Koranic library, famous for its magnificent 11th-century manuscripts. We continue to M’hamid, where we have lunch before entering the great Sahara desert.

You will have the unforgettable experience of driving a 4×4 through the great dunes and visiting the nomads who still live in the desert with their goats. We then continue our journey and visit the sacred oasis (a natural spring) where you can meet the shepherds with their camels.

We then continue our journey and spend the night in the Erg Chegaga bivouac. These dunes, the highest in Morocco, stretch for about 40 km and offer an exceptional panorama over the whole Erg up to the mountains.

Day 3: Explore Erg Chegaga DUNES

In the morning, after a good breakfast, you will drive by 4×4 through the dunes to the nomads’ tents. This day offers a unique opportunity to experience the nomadic lifestyle and the simplicity of desert life. In the heart of the dunes, you will appreciate the majestic landscapes and the immensity of the desert.

You will then return to the bivouac and rest before admiring the sunset over the dunes on a camel or we can hike the highest dune of Erg Chegag and attend the sunset from the highest point. Dinner and the night are spent in a comfortable bivouac.

Day 4: ERG CHEGAGA - M'HAMID - ZAGORA

On that day, we will have breakfast, then you will drive to the gateway to the desert: M’hamid. After passing through Zagora, the capital of dates, we stop in Tamegroute to visit the pottery workshops and the Koranic library, famous for its magnificent 11th-century manuscripts. We continue to M’hamid, where we have lunch before entering the great Sahara desert.

You will have the unforgettable experience of driving a 4×4 through the great dunes and visiting the nomads who still live in the desert with their goats. We then continue our desert tour to Zagora where we will spend the night before continuing our desert tour.

Day 5: Agdez - Ouarzazate – Skoura - Rose Valley - Dades Valley

Depart in the morning after breakfast towards Dades Gorges. We will head through the road of thousand kasbahs passing by several Berber villages. Our way will pass again over Ouarzazate and Skoura. Then, we continue via the Rose Valley where we can stop to visit a local cooperative of rose productions run by women of the village. On the road, you will enjoy the beauty of the diverse landscapes. Later, we arrive in Dades Gorges where we will take a hotel overlooking the Daded Valley. Overnight here.

Day 6: Dades valley - Toudgha Gorges – Merzouga

Wake up in the morning for the breakfast and to start a new tour from Dades to the desert of Merzouga. We will drive to Tinghir and Todra Gorges, the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco where we will have a walk around the gorges to enjoy the view. We continue our drive passing via the village of Errissani, the origin of the Alouit dynasty and the recent royal family. Arriving at Merzouga desert for dinner and spending the night at your Hotel. Another desert adventure will start the next day in Merzouga.

DAY 7: Discover Merzouga

That day will be mostly about exploring Merzouga. Merzouga is where you come to take a camel safari into the dunes and get a taste of remote Berber life. After packing the camels we leave around 5 o’clock in the morning, into the desert towards secluded oases. We will see the sunset from the very high dunes. During our Day in Merzouga, we could try the most enjoyable experiences, such as activities that include off-road driving with 4×4, motorbike..etc. We will be able to wander through the warm sands and the nomadic black tents just in the middle of nowhere, we will get to discover the wild adventurous side of you in one of the most exotic places in the whole world. In the Oasis we will spend the fifth night of our Marrakech Desert Tour, in a Nomad tent and enjoy a drum party of Folk dances and black G’naui music, and campfire enjoying the tempting Barbecue and the perfect cup of Mint tea. You will get to see the stars and moon of the desert sky as you have never seen before.

DAY 8: Merzouga - Rissani - Midelt - Azrou - Ifran - Fes

The next day on our Marrakech Desert Tour, we will wake you up early to enjoy the panoramic view of the sunset, we will have our tasty Sahara breakfast then get ready to start our journey towards the fabulous City of Fes. As you pass through different towns and terrains, the landscape begins to notably change into a rocky scrubland, geographically indicating the beginning of the desert. On the way to Fes the Imperial, we will encounter the Ouled (river) Ziz and the Ziz valley that punctuate the landscape with their brilliant green palms. With the golden prehistoric valley walls towering above you, and the dusty ancient kasbahs & ksar dotting the palm groves, the Ziz lends a feel of what it might be like to mix the worlds of Jurassic Park and Indiana Jones, making it the perfect place to put on your explorer’s hat and go on an adventure. We will go through the Middle Atlas Mountains, as we depart the desert region to Fes. We will drive through the green cedar forests of Azrou and stop to hand feed the monkeys, as we continue via Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’ the Marvellous Cold City, to finally arrive in Fes in the early evening.

Day 9: Fes guided tour

After having our breakfast, we will have a walking tour of the city of Fes. We will visit The survival Castle, The beaten heart of Morocco, and the oldest City of Fes. We will start our exploring day with a tasty Fassi Breakfast. After that, we will be heading to Fes the Imperial in order to see the marvelous mansion, The Famous Royal Palace, where you can see the giant doors made of copper, marble, and small pieces of tiles and mosaics. We will also to take visit the Jewish Quarter AL MALLAH, a huge square that dates back to the 17th century, we would be also seeing some amazing historical places such as Fez Tannery, Attarrin, Nejjarrin, Seffarrin, Al- Batha Museum, and Arms Museum. We will get to see the outstanding fountains such as the Nejjarine Fountain, and the Medersas (Koranic schools) founded as early as the 13th century. The Batha Palace is now a museum of arts and Moroccan traditions. Next on our Morocco Desert Tour from Marrakech, you will get to see the Chouwara tanneries to see how real leather is being made and colored, to finally go towards The Old Medina, which is considered the oldest area in Morocco, as it contains many shops, ancient Handcraft and many old buildings which go back to the 14th century, you will certainly lose your self inside of the narrow streets filled with the most simple and traditional art pieces with a glimpse of our ancestors’ way of life.

Day 10: Fes - Chefchaoune

Our trip will start in the morning from Fes towards Chefchaouen the core of Morocco. you will explore Chefchaouen, or Chaouen called “the blue City”, it is a traditionally designed Moroccan town in the heart of the Rif Mountains, in the northwest, of Morocco. It is well-known for the remarkable buildings in different shades of faded blue of its old town, which feels like a clean and elegant world. It’s one of the cleanest cities in the world and all the inhabitants use to paint their houses with blue color. They believe that the color blue represents the sky which in turn reminds people of heaven and God. While you’re there, you will feel an atmosphere of relaxation, comfort, and peace.

You will start your Chefchaouen visits by strolling the blue streets, seeing the beautiful blue walls, doors, windows & amazing side shops of the old Medina with a lot of amazing picture changes around every corner. For lunch, you will have delicious Moroccan dishes from the north. Then, we continue our visits to the ancient Kasbah Ali Ben Rachid and Plaza Uta El-Hammam. Overnight at one of the blue gorgeous hotels of the city.

Day 11: Chefchaouen - Rabt - Casablanca

Around 7 or 8 am, we will take our breakfast and leave for Casablanca “the economical capital”. On our path, we will stop in Rabat, where we will see together the Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah. Upon arrival in Casablanca, we will visit the vital places and monuments in the City. The First thing to see in Casablanca Is Hassan II Mosque, The view of the huge Mosque just in front of the blue sea. Hassan II Mosque is one of the biggest Mosques in the world. It is also the biggest one in Africa, you will be stunned by the special magnificent architecture. In this Casablanca desert tour, we will also take you to discover Habous Market & Quarter, Explore Casablanca’s Coastal Corniche, and of course, we will have a Casablanca tempting seafood dish for lunch. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 12: Casablanca airport

That day will mark the end of our large Morocco desert tour from Marrakech passing by the famous dunes of Erg Chebbi, the high dunes of Erg Chegag, and the imperial cities; to the largest city and the economical capital Casablanca. End of our services will be ended by dropping you off at the airport. The end of your 12 days vacation in Morocco.
