4 DAYS DESERT TOUR FROM FES TO MERZOUGA

Your Private 4 days desert tour from Fes starts at 8 am. We will head to the beautiful city of Errachidia passing through Ifran, enjoying its cool weather and its beautiful European-styled buildings. From there, our Fes to Marrakech desert tour will continue to Merzouga passing by some Fascinating cities like Medilt, Ziz Valley, and Ziz Gorges. We will stop at the famous and biggest Cedar forest in Morocco to enjoy its natural charm and feed the Barbary Macaque monkeys. Your Fes to Marrakech luxury desert tour carries on to the magnificent town of Ziz Oasis, stopping to rejoice in the charming sights. Our Journey continues passing by Erfoud, Rissani, and some Berber Villages along the way. After arriving and resting in Merzouga, you will get to experience Camel Trekking, cutting through the mesmerizing golden sand dunes of the Sahara desert and enjoying the view of the sunset. You will spend the night under the inspiring moonlight while listening to Moroccan drums music in a luxury desert camp in the heart of the Sahara.

That day will be dedicated to exploring the desert of Merzouga after savoring a delicious breakfast and enjoying the view of the spectacular sunrise in the middle of the golden dines before going on a tour around the city of Merzouga. We will visit the following sites: the qanat, a farm in an oasis, Lac DayetSrij, Khamlia village, Mfiss, MerdabiHassiLabiad, Lake Yasmina, and an abandoned village at old mines and the black desert which will provide you with an insight into the daily life of the Berber people and the preserved history of that region. After having enjoyed your day discovering the desert, our driver will take you to your hotel in the afternoon, where you will have dinner and spend the second night of your trip.

On the third day of your Desert Tour from Fes to Merzouga, we will wake up early in the morning to enjoy the fascinating sunrise. After enjoying a delicious meal for breakfast and after having some time to relax, we will get back on the road, heading to the Old Imperial City of Fes. On the way to Fes, we will visit the city of Errachidia and we will make a stop in Midelt, the small town known for its rare kinds of rocks and fossils. We will have our lunch there then we’ll continue to Fes via the mountains and the charming landscape of the Middle Atlas. We will arrive at the legendary city of Fes in the late afternoon after a fabulous 3 Days. Dinner and overnight at your riad/hotel.

After breakfast, you will start your city tour to discover the attractions of the oldest city in Morocco. First, you will visit the oldest university in the World ‘El Qaraouine’, which dates back to 857–859 and was built by a woman called Fatima El Fihria. Then, you head to the old Medina and its narrow alleys, the Medina has been chosen as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s wonderful to test the traditional meals for lunch in the old Medina of Fes. After that, you will stroll the Souk in the famous Bab Boujloud, known for the local products and handcrafted men (it’s a good choice for buying souvenirs). Other places you can visit in Fes include the Jewish quarter ‘Mellah’, Dar El Makhzen, and Fes El’ Jadid (which was built by the French). Later, our driver will drop you off at your Riad/Hotel.
